Ayaka Komatsu (小松彩夏, Komatsu Ayaka) is a Japanese model/actress. She was born on July 23 of 1986 in Ichinoseki,Iwate Prefecture. She lived eight years in Argentina.
Modeling Career
Her modeling agency is Amuse. She was a regular model of the now defunct Candy magazine. She also appeared in the Winter 2002-2003 "Angel Blue" fashion catalog and was on the cover of the manga "Young Sunday" dated April 7, 2005.
She was a member of the 2004 edition of the Japanese modeling quartet named Nittelligenic. Prior to this, she did a few controversial swimsuit layouts.
She has released four photobooks, and four idol DVDs. In order of release date, the photobook titles are: Ayaka no Natsu, Nicchoku, Summer Date, and Moon Doll. The DVDs are named, in order of release date, Figure A, Layer Game/Megami no Chu, Masaka, and Moon Doll.
Acting Career
She has acted in the following movies: "Odoru Daisousasen THE MOVIE 2" (her role in this film was relatively minor; she gets attacked by a vampire), "koibumi", "Master of Thunder", "A Perfect Day for Love Letters", "Drift Deluxe Edition", and "Boko wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru" (which opened in Japan on January 20, 2007, and later in Europe under the English title "My Sister, My Love").
She also appeared in the reality show "Idol Michi" and made a commercial for Takara, "Popura 2," as well as an award-winning commercial for the soft drink Fanta.
Arguably, her best known job was as Minako Aino/Sailor V/Sailor Venus in the series Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.
Since PGSM wrapped up, Ayaka was in the cast of a TV show called Dandori Musume ("Appointment Girls"). Her role in Dandori Musume is more comic than tragic, in contrast to her PGSM role. Her latest TV show is a drama called "Girl's Life".

Contacting Miss Komatsu
Ayaka maintains two e-mail addresses. The first, komatsuayaka@amuse.co.jp, is maintained by her agency and is the one to use to send her fan mail. The second is private and used by her family and close friends.
Ayaka does maintain a presence on MySpace; however, she, like many famous people on MySpace, has a problem with posers (i.e. people who pretend to be her on MySpace). In January 2007, she posted a video on YouTube with the friend ID 1000380280;< however, she was harassed at that address. She now uses the friend ID 1000414696. She plans to make a video with Keiko Kitagawa (who also has a poser problem) to discourage the posers.
